Merle & Fawn Pug Puppies

(6 photos)

UPDATE 14/10: New photos up! Puppies are doing very well. They have now weaned and are walking and playing. We still have TWO puppies left, both girls. One merle and one fawn. The merle is the bigger pup, the fawn is smaller but still in great shape.

They were born on August 31st and will be ready to go starting from October 26th at 8 weeks old. Prior to leaving they will be vet checked & confirmed healthy, and receive their first vaccination. I will also treat for worms fortnightly starting from 3 weeks old and treat for fleas at 1 month. They will be weaned onto BlackHawk Lamb & Rice Puppy kibble and be well-socialised to household noises like washing machine, cars, our baby, and other dogs.

Both parents are purebred pugs, no papers. The dad is fawn and the mum is blue merle. Both are beautiful and conform well to breed standard. They are my pets and I’m familiar with their lineages to ensure no inbreeding. They are very mellow dogs, barely ever bark and like chilling out in the sun. The dad dog is gentle & good with other dogs and the mum dog is cuddly & very food motivated.

This is Mum dog’s first litter and she has been a great mum, good with breastfeeding. Dad dog has fathered several previous healthy litters; he is also available for stud services.

Mum dog is heterozygous for the merle gene so she has the lovely colouring but does not suffer from deafness the way many double-merles do. Since Dad dog is fawn and carries only fawn, the puppies will also have no chance of having any merle-related health problems. Rest assured!

These puppies will be excellent pets for anyone who wants a loving, laid-back cuddle buddy. Pugs are the teddy bears of dog breeds.

We’re in Auckland and happy to have visits to view the puppies, and work with pet transporters if you need.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the puppy of your choice.

Feel free to inquire for more info & ask any questions.
